

The girl and her shadowIt is a shadow. A dark, ethereal, amorphous being. I don't want it. It torments me. "Are you ignoring me, girl?"It's breath slides into my ear as it utters this question. It is very close. I shrink away as I continue through the moonlit streets. I cannot hear it; it is not here.The girl and her shadow
The shadow lets out an explosive laugh. "Oh but, I am here." It darts in front of me, millimeters from my slight, pale form. Casting my eyes to the ground, I tug my hood over my brunette, pixie-like tresses. I want to scream at this leech, to push it to the ground and drive my heel into its head.  


'Sent'- Prolouge She was going to die if she didnt do some quick thinking. She lay sprawled on her back, facing a huge, menacing creature whose only instinct was to kill. It had been circling her for almost a minute and a half, its piercing eyes on her every move. She tried to clear her mind as she slowed her breathing. It was all she could do to keep from screaming from the pain. Dust and gravel were embedded in the open wounds on her chest and arms from the creatures razor-like claws, her head throbbing from being pounded on the barren ground.
